Part of Rabaçal, in Calheta (ER105), and ends in a pool fed by several waterfalls, hence the name. It is one of the most sought-after trails in Madeira.
The route operates with controlled circulation: you go up along the levada and down via an alternative path. There is an optional extension via the Túnel do Cavalo, with an unlit section, not recommended for those who suffer from claustrophobia.
