Praia de Albandeira is one of the Algarve’s most secret and photogenic beaches, tucked between cliffs in the Lagoa/Silves area. It’s known for the natural arch framing the turquoise water, and holds one of the highest ratings in the region: 4.8.
Getting there and parking
Parking next to the sand is limited, so it’s worth arriving early, especially in summer. It’s one of the more secluded beaches in this part of the Algarve.
The sand and the sea
It’s around 60 metres of fine golden sand tucked between rock walls, where the natural arch forms that has made this beach one of the most photographed in the Algarve. The water is calm and turquoise.
