Day 2 — Benagil Caves
Morning: Boat tour to Benagil caves. The main cave with its sky-window is unforgettable.
Lunch: Tapas in Lagoa.
Afternoon: Praia da Marinha — rated one of the world’s 100 best beaches. Snorkelling among natural arches.
Day 3 — Albufeira
Morning: Praia de São Rafael — crystal waters among sculpted rocks.
Lunch: Monkfish cataplana in central Albufeira.
Afternoon: Kayak in Albufeira caves. Different from Benagil but equally spectacular.
Day 4 — Silves and the Interior
Morning: Silves Castle, the former Moorish capital of the Algarve.
Lunch: Piri-piri chicken in Silves.
Afternoon: Return via Praia do Carvalho — accessed through a tunnel carved in rock.
