Terra Nostra: combining the garden with the pool
Terra Nostra Park is located in the Furnas valley and features a botanical garden and a thermal water pool. Consider this option if you intend to dedicate the same block of the day to the garden walk and the bath, provided access is available.
Choose the order of activities according to the weather and confirmed conditions. Do not book another visit with a tight margin immediately afterwards. Check the appropriate ticket, pool usage conditions, and equipment required by the park.
Caldeira Velha: a visit with a different setting
Official information presents Caldeira Velha as a hot ferruginous waterfall on the slope of Serra de Água de Pau. If this setting is your priority, consult the visit modalities and availability for the desired date directly.
Do not assume that a visit ticket and a bathing ticket have the same conditions. Before combining this stop with Lagoa do Fogo, confirm accesses, bookings, and the forecast separately; being on the same travel route does not make the two visits equivalent.
Preparing for the bath and adapting the plan
Bring the equipment indicated by the operator and a change of clothes separately. Confirm where you can store belongings and if the services you need are available. For children or specific health needs, check conditions directly, without interpreting this guide as medical advice.
Gardens and outdoor pools are not shelters during thunderstorms or weather warnings. In such cases, follow local instructions and postpone the activity when necessary. If you intend to visit both spaces, spread them over different days to allow time for Furnas and the other excursions.
