Morning: start with the coastal programme
Check the forecast and choose which of the two viewpoints is the day’s priority. Official information highlights both as spots to watch the sunrise, but this depends on visibility. Do not plan a pre-dawn departure based solely on a photograph or a distant forecast.
If you prefer to start later, keep the viewpoints as stops on a daytime outing. The order here is an editorial suggestion: adapt it to your accommodation, the confirmed route and conditions on the ground. Leave a break for a meal between blocks, rather than stacking stops until late afternoon.
Afternoon: complete or reduce the circuit
Use the afternoon for the second stop, to explore Nordeste village or to begin the return with a margin. It is not necessary to fill every hour; on a day with poor visibility, you can reduce the visit and reorganise the remaining outings.
If you want to add a walk, treat it as a separate activity. Confirm the official trail, access, conditions and return. A coastal circuit by car does not prove that a mountain road is suitable for your vehicle or your rental agreement.
Car, tour or combined transport
With a car, confirm the route and where you can stop before setting off. With a tour, ask for the list of stops and know what happens in bad weather. With booked transport, arrange the pick-up and return, including programme changes.
To choose accommodation, compare staying in the Nordeste area with keeping the same base for the whole trip. Make the comparison with the other days’ visits and the specific address, without assuming all bases have the same connections or services.
