Vale Centeanes Beach (Praia de Vale Centeanes) is the starting (or finishing) point of the famous Seven Hanging Valleys Trail, considered one of the best hiking trails in Europe. But this Carvoeiro beach is much more than a trailhead: its crystal-clear waters make it one of the best snorkelling spots in the Algarve, and the proximity to the Carvoeiro boardwalk makes it easy to combine with a coastal stroll.
